When Your Child Is Struggling, It Can Be Hard to Know How to Help

You may notice your child worrying more, avoiding things they once enjoyed, becoming easily frustrated, losing confidence, or having difficulty with friendships, school or changes at home. You want to help—but reassurance and conversations may not seem to be enough.

Therapy gives children a safe and supportive space to express themselves, understand what they are experiencing and develop healthier ways to cope. Sessions are adapted to each child and may include talking, play, creative activities and other age-appropriate approaches.

Therapy is also available for adults experiencing anxiety, grief, stress, relationship concerns or difficult life transitions. Together, we can explore what is weighing on you and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Child Therapy in Bradford

Individual therapy to help children manage anxiety, build confidence and cope with challenges at home, at school and with friends.

Children do not always have the words to explain what they are experiencing. Their worries or distress may show up through frustration, withdrawal, perfectionism, changes in behaviour, frequent reassurance-seeking or difficulty at school and with friendships.

Jennifer provides a warm, accepting space where children can express themselves at their own pace. Depending on the child’s age and needs, sessions may include conversation, creative activities, therapeutic games and play-based approaches.

Therapy is tailored to each child’s personality, strengths and developmental stage. The goal is to help your child feel understood while developing greater confidence, emotional awareness and practical coping skills they can use in everyday life.

Adult Therapy in Bradford and Across Ontario

Support for anxiety, grief, stress, relationship concerns and difficult life transitions.

You may be managing work, relationships, parenting and everyday responsibilities while privately feeling anxious, exhausted, stuck or unlike yourself. Sometimes a loss, relationship difficulty or major change can make it especially hard to cope on your own.

Therapy offers a confidential, non-judgmental space to talk openly about what you are experiencing, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical ways to cope and move forward.

Jennifer works collaboratively with you, tailoring therapy to your experiences, strengths and goals. Adult sessions are available in person in Bradford and virtually throughout Ontario.
